Registration:

How to register?Login to BelieversWedding.com

You can register as a free member and create your free profile by filling up the registration form.

You need to provide name, age, gender, e-mail ID and other related details, along with your Pastor/Organization Leaders contact details as insisted in the form.

Click on Register link and your details will be submitted for verification. (But you will be responsible for the data provided)

After verification of your submitted details, your basic profile will be automatically created.

You will be intimated of this by mail. You noted to activate this clicking on the provided link and login. Once login you can complete your detailed profile and start using the application.

What is profile validation?
All the profiles are validated before inclusion in the database. Validation of profiles is done manually, which takes 3 working days. Our support team meticulously validates each and every profile carefully on specific criterion before it is added to our database. E-mail will be sent to you once the profile is validated and added.

On what criteria is a profile validated?
Almost every word counts. We categorically ignore profiles that are submitted by underage persons, and profiles that contain abusive content. We reject profiles that contain invalid data such as added for fun/looking for friendship/not related to marriage. We try and maintain the highest quality in the database we serve to ensure only members who are serious about marriage make use of the service.

Can I register on behalf of someone else?
Yes, you can register on behalf of someone else.

Can I register for my sister/brother and myself with the same Matrimony login ID?
A Matrimony login ID identifies each person uniquely. Please register separate profiles for you and your sibling for individual partner searches. At present BelieversWedding.com supports registering single profiles per login ID.

Can I use the same e-mail ID for multiple registrations?
You need to have separate e-mail ID (login ID) for each registration.

How do I know that my registration is accepted?
You will get an E-mail alert with 3 working days of the registration submission.

Profile creation/modification:

Where and when can I enter my detailed profile and expectations about my partner?
After you registration, verification will be done on the submitted details. If the details are valid, your basic profile will be automatically created. You will be intimated of this by mail. You noted to activate this clicking on the provided link and login. Once login you can complete your detailed profile and expectations about your partner.

What should I enter in the profile description field?
Your profile description is where you reveal yourself - your personality, your likes and dislikes, your educational and family background, career and personal interests, and expectations about your partner. Try to give a clear self-description and a complete picture of what you expect. A good description will always fetch instant responses. Look at the sample profiles below, which are clear, brief and have all the important details in a well-organized manner.

What information will be displayed to members from my profile?
Members can view all your details except the following:

Telephone: By default phone number display is disabled. However, other can request you by mail to see the phone number. According to your discretion you may enable/disable it.

Photos: You have options to enable or disable photo access to everyone.

E-mail: Email Ids are not disclosed in the profile. However, users can send mail using the utility. However, BelieversWedding.com does not provide any exclusive E-mail account. All mails will be directed to the login mail ID account (gmail.com/ hotmail.com, etc.)

Note: For Phone and Photo if the default access to everyone is set to Disabled then only the functionality of sending request to phone or photo is make sense. So that for each member the user can set to see the phone or photo for that member. If the default access it set to everyone is set to Enabled then without requesting the photo or phone the members can view both. So what you have mentioned is proper.

How many photos can I add?
You can add up to ten photos to your profile. The maximum size allowed per photo is 2048 KB.

How to upload photos?
Login using your E-mail ID and password.

Go to My Home > Settings > Photo and Album Settings.

Click on Upload Photo-Choose file. Select your photo in jpg/gif format and click Upload Photo.

Click the button 'Upload' (TIP: Crop your photo as required to show the image appropriately.)

Note: Cropping the photo after upload is not implemented. This the user himself has to do it.

What are the other ways to add photos?
E-mail your photo to info@believerswedding.com indicating your Matrimony ID and Password. Post your photo to any of our offices across the world with your Matrimony ID and Password. We will upload your photo to your profile free of cost.

How do I protect my photo?
Phone: Go to My Home > Settings >Default Settings. You have options to enable or disable photo access to everyone

Photo: Go to My Home > Settings > Photo and Album Settings. At the bottom of the page, you have the options to enable it for requested users.

Verification

How to verify profiles?
Verification will be done based on age, address, marital status with the Pastor's/Organization leader.

How will my verification report reach me?
You will be informed by E-mail within 3 working days. Done through Admin Panel

How do I verify the personal details of a member I am interested in?
When the user registers in matrimonial website, we’ll be checking all the details and verify the user's registration manually. Our BelieversWedding.com team will be contacting with the pastor of his/her Church and verify the user and his/her details. Once the registered user is validated then only we'll be Enabling his/ her account. This will take around 3 days or sometimes more depending on the reach of the registered person.

Ways to Contact

What is Express Interest?
This feature that enables you to send automated messages to members absolutely FREE and let them know that you are interested in them.

Is there a limit on the number of Express Interest messages I can send in a day?
You can send unlimited 'Express Interest' messages to anyone you choose. Also, you can accept any number of 'Express Interest' messages sent to you by other members.

How will I know if a member has accepted/declined my interest?
You can login to your account and select the 'Interests Sent' option under Express Interest to know how many members has accepted/declined your interest.

Will my contact information be revealed to the member I have expressed my interest in?
No. Only an automated message expressing your interest will be sent to the member without revealing your contact information. (Sagar, need your input on this) Currently the mode of getting contact information we have is just Telephone. If the user has set default phone access to everyone then yes the information can be retrieved to the member by going to his/her profile. Else the user has to set the default access to everyone as Disabled.

How do I send personalized messages to a member who has accepted my interest?
You can send personalized messages to a member who has accepted your interest by sending email through the application. However, _________.com does not provide any exclusive E-mail account. All mails will be directed to the login mail ID account (gmail.com/hotmail.com…etc

How to hide phone number?
By default all phone numbers will be disabled.

How to enable/disable phone number for requested members?
Login to your account. In the My Home page, click on Edit Profile section. Under Settings (Right hand panel), click on ‘Phone Settings’ link. There you will have the option to enable/deny telephone requested users. (Sagar, need your input on this) Correct. This is useable only when the Phone default access to everyone is set to Disabled in Default Settings page.
